Top 10 Reasons Why Our Dance Moms Are Awesome

We are honoring the moms who are helping their dancers on their dancing journey today!  Those who are enabling their child to have this amazing experience on their own and who are encouraging them at all times. BUT let's be real here, ALL the incredible things a dance mom does can't possibly be included in a top 10 list but we think this is a wonderful place to begin.

For Mothers Day we honor of all the wonderful things you accomplish and here are a few of the reasons why we think our Dance Moms are the best:

1. You drive everywhere and are able to get your dancer to class on schedule. The distance driven between home, school, and the studio often feels like a full-time job.

2. You purchase bags that may actually contain everything from your dancers closet.

3. You will joyfully skip things for yourself to attend your dancers 2-minute stage performance. The truth.

4. You constantly celebrate the greatness of what you're dancer is doing and brag to others.

5. You jump at the opportunity to post about all your dancers talents.

6. You make the weeks of recitals calm, organized, and pleasant.

7. You listen as dancers talk about class and smile, but actually have no concept what they are saying.

8. After a performance you are the first to want to give your dancer a hug after you exit the stage, but you'll wait quietly until your turn so their friends can be first.

9. You are mindful of when your dancer needs an encouraging pep talk, and even if they are at a loss for words, you are going to guarantee that dancers leave feeling as though everything will be alright.

10. When your dancer performs, you cry in private, full of love and joy.

Moms, we are not perfect and there is no requirement to be but we are perfectly sharing this dance journey with our children. Our actions are ones of love and support. We all have an unwavering commitment to attending the performances, complete with costumes, hairspray, and all the things. We love having each of you in our Raqad family simply because you are the BEST dance moms!
